Daredevil Born Again S2 E5 Review

We start off in an obvious flashback to Wilson and Vanessa walking on the beach and it cuts to modern day and Fisk is flipping out about them trying to save Vanessa.

Fisk tells Powell he wants him alive.

Matt saves bullseye and brings him to the bar to keep him safe.

They are trying to save Vanessa and we have a flashback to when she was selling art before she met Fisk.

Bullseye mentions foggy and Matt almost murders him right there. We get a flashback of Matt and foggy from the old show of them practicing.

Matt is trying to get bullseye to safety and get him help and bullseye wants none of it.

This is half flashback and half reality episode. Buck is not messing around with the press.

We see them on the beach again and it seems Vanessa might make it out?? But still touch and go

Buck and Daniel go on a ride and buck wants to talk to Daniel… and Daniel is on edge. Buck talks about his past in Afghanistan. And buck knows Daniel leaked it to the press.

Daniel stops and buck picks up a shovel and a saw it looks like and this is not gonna be good for Daniel

We even get a buck flashback to his days before working with Fisk

Matt takes bullseye to the church and they are talking about how Fisk is going to end them after the night of Vanessa almost getting killed.

The priest tells them they know they are there and Matt is trying to hide bullseye and bullseye is telling Matt to leave him behind. Matt originally leaves him behind but remembers foggy telling him to show mercy and he goes back and grabs him fight before the task force gets in there

Daniel and buck go out to the woods. Buck tells Daniel he likes him. And it looks like buck is gonna kill him… but buck opens the trunk and there’s a body in there (maybe the ship captain?) and he asks “shovel or saw?”

Matt carries bullseye into his hideout spot and Karen is like “what?!?”

Venessa wakes up and Fisk is waiting hand over fist. Vanessa isn’t the same person after waking up but Fisk is just happy she’s alive

Fisk tells her about the day they met and Vanessa tells him about the day they met. And Vanessa is about to say the same thing again and she goes into cardiac arrest…. Now it looks like Vanessa is officially dead… now Fisk is going to be a maniac… even more so… and that’s the episode…. As for 3 more episodes left!!
